Simon Evans

Simon Evans was born in Plymouth England. After graduating from university with a degree in economics, Simon worked in the Accounting Departments for Lloyds register of shipping, and then for a chain of restaurants. He lived and worked in London for five years before moving to Japan in the summer of 1999.

Simon has now been teaching English as a second language in Japan for 7 years. He has a broad range of experience and is currently employed by the Saitama Institute of Technology and Kanagawa University.

In his free time Simon enjoys reading modern History, especially European and Oriental. His favourite sport is soccer, and he tries to watch as many English Premiership games as he can, especially those of Tottenham Hotspur. For exercise, Simon enjoys taking long walks along the rivers of Tokyo.
