会話
面接を終えたマネージャー二人が候補者について話し合っています。上で勉強した単語が使われているので、実際に聞いてみましょう。
| David: | So, what do you think? |
| Victoria: | Well, I think two candidates were outstanding, Debbie and Paul. |
| David: | My thoughts exactly. They were both very ambitious and highly motivated - attributes that we are definitely looking for. |
| Victoria: | Yes, it’s certainly going to be difficult to choose. |
| David: | Ok, let’s consider each of them. First there was Debbie. She seems to have extensive experience in similar positions, and I feel that she would make a valuable contribution to our organisation. According to her resume, she raised sales figures by 23% in her previous position at PBN. And she also established a firm business relationship with several Southeast Asian companies. |
| Victoria: | Mm, she certainly seems very capable. But I also really liked Paul. He came across as someone who would work well under pressure. And he seems like a team player. I think it’s important that whomever we chose gets along well with all the staff here. |
| David: | I couldn’t agree more. We don’t want someone who won’t fit in or is sensitive to criticism. |
| Victoria: | Okay, so, all in all, I think I’m leaning towards Debbie, unless you have any concerns. |
| David: | No, I also think she would be great. Let’s make her an offer. |
