| Daiki: | Divorce? Jesus! Are you serious? Believe you me, I’m as astounded as you are! ...Why? |
| Stuart: | She was pretty evasive at first. Kept just saying that our marriage had run its course. However, eventually, she admitted that she’d been having an affair for the past two years. |
| Daiki: | You must be devastated. Again, I had no idea. None at all. Are you going to grant her wish? |
| Stuart: | Of course! She had been sneaking around behind my back all that time. I want nothing more to do with her! And do you know what riles me more than anything? She had the gall to suggest it was all my fault! |
| Daiki: | Eh? From where I stand, you were always the proud father and devoted husband. Have you discussed what to do with the kids? |
| Stuart: | She wants custody, but I’ll fight her all the way! As she’s the one filing for divorce, and I’m the one who’s been wronged, I reckon the court will look kindly on my claim. |
| Daiki: | Do they know yet? |
| Stuart: | I’ve stalled telling them by saying she’s had to go away for a while. |
| Daiki: | Is that wise? They’re inquisitive kids. The questions will keep coming, and eventually one of them will get what’s really happened… Ah, your glass is empty. A refill? |
