「What’s up?」
<英語でdefinition!> What is wrong?
カジュアルに「どうしたの？」と様子を訪ねる表現。What are you doing?(何をしているの？), What is happening?（何が起きてるの？）等の意味でも使われます。
例文 What’s up with Richard? He’s looked miserable all day!
（リチャードは何かあったの？一日中、憂鬱な顔をしているよ！）

“Have got to do”は”have to do”よりもさらに自然な言い方です。※doには動詞の原形が来ます。
”Have got to”（あるいは”have to”）には次のように2通りの意味があります。
(1)〈義務〉
(2)〈強めの提案〉
(1)では「〈義務として〉～しなくてはならない」という意味で、(2)は「～するべきだ」という意味になります。
以下の英文をそれぞれ〈義務〉と〈強めの提案〉に分類しましょう。

| Paul: | Really? Why? There are many interesting places to see in London. You’ve got to go for more than one week! |
| Tom: | I can’t! I’ve got to finish a project at work before the end of September. |
| Paul: | I see. Are you going to London on a tour? |
| Tom: | Yes. I will be busy everyday there. But I’ve got to get up about 6am every morning. |
| Paul: | 6am! |
| Tom: | I know it’s early, but I’ll see many sightseeing places – Buckingham Palace, Tower Of London, Kew Gardens etc. |
| Paul: | And because you love shopping, you’ve got to go Harrods and the Kings Road! |
| Tom: | Yes. I will take lots of money with me! There are many clothes I want. |
| Paul: | The Kings Road has many fashionable shops. |
| Tom: | Also, I’ve got to buy some Tea for my mother. |
| Paul: | Then you’ve got to go to buy it in Fortnum and Mason’s. It’s the best tea in the world! |
