「The word is」
<英語でdefinition!> The commonly held view.
Word is (言うこと）にtheをつけて限定することで、「うわさでは～」の意味の慣用表現となります。
例文 The word is Tiffany will be the new sales director, although she has not been told officially yet.
（まだ正式な任命はされていないけれど、うわさではティファニーがつぎの営業部長になるよ。）

未来完了は、現在完了の未来形にあたります。つまり、未来のある時点に完了することや、未来のある時点まで継続していることをあらわします。
未来完了の文の形は＜主語+ will (shall) + have + 過去分詞＞になります。
単語・表現
左側の時を表す語(形容詞・副詞・動詞・名詞)と一致する意味を右側から選びなさい。
未来完了は、現在完了の未来形にあたります。つまり、未来のある時点に完了することや、未来のある時点まで継続していることをあらわします。

| Kim: | We’ve had word that a team of ten will be arriving first thing next Monday morning - the 18th. |
| Terry: | Please ensure that they are aware of the modifications to the original specifications that I informed you of last week. |
| Kim: | I sent them yesterday, but the chief electrician estimates that it’ll result in an increase of at least 100 man hours, and may involve working round the clock. |
| Terry: | But they will have re-wired the whole building by the 26th, I trust? It will take a further 2 or 3 days to get the place fit for work. |
| Kim: | As well as the re-wiring, they are confident that they will have put in all the lighting by that time, too. Once that has been completed, all the new furniture and equipment can begin to be moved in and computer network set up. |
| Terry: | So, everything will have been done by the time we have to vacate our temporary offices on the 30th? |
| Kim: | As I said, as long as there aren’t any unforeseen problems, Head Office will be ready for business on Friday 1st. |
